Terms of service

Last updated 15 September 2026

These terms apply whenever you use AmarDashboard, whether you are buying from a shop listed on it or running a shop on it. Placing an order or signing in means you accept them.

What AmarDashboard is

We make software. Shops use it to record sales and stock at the counter and to put their products online. Our marketplace lists those shops and their products in one place.

We are not the seller. When you order, the contract is between you and the shop. The shop owns the goods, sets the price, decides whether to accept the order, delivers it, and handles warranty and returns. We pass your order to the shop and show you its progress.

Your account

  • Give accurate details. A wrong phone number means the shop cannot confirm your order.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • You must be 18 or over.
  • Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.

Buying from a shop

  • Placing an order is a request, not a confirmed sale. The shop calls you to confirm, usually within a few hours. Either of you can cancel on that call.
  • Prices and stock come live from the shop. If a price or stock figure turns out to be wrong, the shop may cancel and will tell you why.
  • Delivery charges are shown before you order when the shop has set fixed areas. Otherwise the charge is agreed on the confirmation call and paid to the delivery person.
  • Most shops take cash on delivery. Where a shop accepts bKash, you pay the shop directly and give the transaction number. We never hold your money.
  • Delivery dates are the shop’s best estimate, not a promise.
  • The return window a shop shows on its product page is that shop’s own. What applies everywhere is on our returns page.

Reviews

Only someone who bought an item and had it delivered can review it. Write what you honestly found. Do not post other people’s personal details, abuse, or anything untrue. We remove reviews that break this. A shop can reply to a review but cannot delete it.

If you run a shop

  • You pay a monthly subscription for your plan plus a one time setup fee. Both are shown before you sign up and are paid by bKash to the number shown in your dashboard.
  • If a payment is missed, your dashboard warns you first. After a grace period, normally seven days, access is paused. Nothing is deleted: every sale, product and customer comes back the moment you pay.
  • What you list is your responsibility: that it is accurate, that you may legally sell it, and that the price shown is the price you honour.
  • Your taxes, trade licence and any other permission your business needs are yours to hold.
  • Staff accounts you create act in your name. You are responsible for what they do, and for removing them when they leave.
  • Messages the dashboard sends to your customers, such as invoice and due reminders, go out in your shop’s name. Make sure the people you add have agreed to hear from you.
  • Your customers’ information in the dashboard is yours to protect. Treat it the way our privacy policy describes.
  • Your records are yours. You can export them at any time, and if you leave we give you a full copy before deleting them.
  • We may remove a listing, or a shop, that breaks these terms or the law, or that treats buyers badly.

What you may not do

  • Sell anything illegal, counterfeit, stolen, or that you are not allowed to sell.
  • Place orders you do not intend to accept, or use someone else’s name or number.
  • Try to reach data that is not yours, break into accounts, or disrupt the service.
  • Copy the software or resell access to it.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. We may take it down briefly to update it. The counter keeps recording sales without internet, and those sales are sent once the connection returns.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for providing the software. We are not responsible for the goods a shop sells, the condition they arrive in, or whether a shop keeps its promises. If we are found liable for something, our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid to us in the three months before the problem, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Bangladeshi law.

Ending it

You can stop using AmarDashboard at any time, and a shop can cancel its subscription at any time. We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if fees go unpaid, or if we are required to by law. If we end a shop’s access, the owner gets a copy of their data first.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
